About Lemon
I got hold of Sweeter Home (preview 1) when it first showed up in the Android Market. After a day or two I quickly realised the potential this Home Replacement had, and built a couple of demo Sweeter Home themes to show what this Launcher was capable of (you might be familiar with the Matrix theme video on YouTube). I started this blog in response to the initial popularity of those videos. Since then I've had the pleasure of lending ideas and beta testing for the developer of Sweeter Home.
Nice work!! I actually tried to copy what you did a few days ago when I saw it on xda-developers.com. But, what I did, instead of using images and springboards behind the images, is made several individual transparent action trays for each app and changed the font size and got rid of the icon options. It looks the same as yours. It works really good and you can hit any part of the word to open the app. Only downside is that I can not put any thing above it because it would lead to two apps on top of each other with no way to control which one you want to open. So I think the way you did it is better if you plan on adding an additional layer over the words and individual action tray would work pretty good if you do not want to add a layer over the words. I hope what I wrote made sense. Again Great work and look forward to seeing more.
Lovin your work! looking at making a few themes of my own – but still struggling with SH, one basic question – how do I activate the walpaper that comes with the theme – I cant seem to get rid of my default ones – cheers – N
