SWEETER HOME 2 PUBLIC BETA IS LIVE!
This release is a public beta and is not available on the Android Market.
You will not automatically receive updates.

A few important notes from me:
- READ all the notes on the download page. THEY ARE IMPORTANT!
- DOWNLOAD THE CORRECT FILE. Are you on Android 1.6 or 2.0+?
- Create an account and sign in. Tag Trays make things so much easier and the syncing is automatic as long as you’re signed in.
- Please use the forums on Sweeter Home for discussing feature requests before logging a feature ticket. Your idea might already be in the pipeline or others might be able to expand and improve on your idea.
- If you log bug reports please be detailed. The devil is in the detail. Detail is ALWAYS good.
- Have fun.
- Share your themes!

I’ll be uploading some help videos for the Beta tonight if I can. These will be an intro to break down the basics of how Sweeter Home is laid out, and then a second vid giving you some insight into a few of the deeper functions.
I got hold of Sweeter Home when it first showed up in the Android Market. After a day or two I quickly realised the potential this Home Replacement had, and built a couple of demo themes to demonstrate Sweeter Home's potential (you might be familiar with the Matrix theme video on YouTube). I started this blog in response to the initial popularity of those videos. Since then I've had the pleasure of lending ideas and beta testing for the developer of Sweeter Home.

Hey man lol i have been but i have 1.5 will 1.6 work with it? lol i saw that and was like omg! are you kiddin me? lol please tell me it’ll work man, i got a HTC Dream. I’m in canada so theres a struggle to getting 1.6-2.0 to customers over here for some reason. Let me know if you could thanks!
TRY it, the 1.6 version, but don’t set as your default. Worst case go swap your Dream for a Magic.
Well I’ve had this for a while but if i need to my girlfriends gonna be able to get an upgrade for her regular phone, She’ll be happy to take my phone over hers lol so I might get the Magic that way if I need to. But is there some kind of deal do you know?? Cus that would be amazing if i could switch but I’m pretty sure the Magic isn’t getting 1,6 either. I’ve been following this thing non stop i just made a twitter account to follow you haha.
Oh wow i just read that for a limited time that dream owners are going to be able to switch for free. Soon too i guess.
Hey just letting you know 1.6 wouldnt install on my 1.5, let other users know if possible, I’ve looked up information on this magic upgrade and the announcement just came this past Saturday so, waiting for a release. Thank your for the help, and hope Sweeter Home kills all the other home replacements!

Oh no, n o 1.5 support!? Can’t install on my moment. I might just cry… will there be 1.5 support?
Yah it sucks hopefully there will be. I live in Canada and they are officially not updating the HTC Dream anymore. The hardware requirements arent up to par i guess. But the HTC Magic is getting the 2.1 Sense interface thats on the hero, and they are offering a Switch between the Dream and the Magic. So. I’m waiting for that, but hopefully Sweeterhome will expand to 1.5. I followed this website everyday waiting and this pops up lol. I feel you man.
Downloaded and its working great on Droid 2.0.1. Thanks for all of the hard work in getting this out. Now to start playing around with all of the stuff you can do with this, very cool! Sweet even
Works great, but none of the themes work on the Droids resolution so they look like poop
Hey, if you wanna buy me a Nexus One and send it over, I’m happy to start theming in high res.
I noticed that also, but sure that they will all eventually get switched over to the higher resolutions. I downloaded “Rosetta2″ and its brilliant, and resolution is perfect for Droid.
I say we start a paypal donation thing and get Lemon an N1.

Lemon – have the developers acknowledged that preview 2 doesn’t function on 1.5? and if so, are there any plans to post a version of preview 2 that is compatible?
i don’t know if i can wait for the 2.1 update from Samsung for my Moment… i might seriously have to drown myself =(
No 1.5. Please make 1.5 support of sweeterhome 2. When I saw the download link I deleted my sweterhome for the new one without realizing I could not run it on 1.5. Now I have no sweeterhome. Arg!
Please make Sweeterhome 2 available for us red-head stepchildren with 1.5.
I’m another user in desperate need of 1.5 support! Is there any word on whether or not it will be supported? If not I’ll just have to wait an age for HTC to update the Hero

After I downloaded it and tryed in install it said can not insall app and I tryed both 1.6 and 2.0 and I am using the samsung moment
Well, um, the moment is 1.5 right? Not 1.6 or 2.0…
I tried sweeter Home 2 preview on my Acer liquid and it was great!!!
But i’ve a problem now, when I come back to normal android home my wallpaper isn’t the same as before. there is 2 black bands on the up and bottom of my screen, and when i try to resize my wallpaper picture it’s still the same. Somedy can help me?

Yes it is running 1.5
I am getting a force close trying to access any contacts through sweeter homes contact list. Is anyone else suffering this same problem. Not quite sure if this is the place to look for a fix, but so far everything else is awesome. The force close is not creating a bug report, it just automatically comes up with the force close box and i don’t have an option to “wait’.
Yeah that’s happening to a few people – if it happens please log a bug report through the menu button when SH restarts.
