At the moment the developer is considering releasing a 1.5 build but he’s not sure if the effort is worth it or not. To this end, please comment here with your request that Sweeter Home be released for you guys on 1.5 as well! The louder and better your argument the more chance there is.

I got hold of Sweeter Home (preview 1) when it first showed up in the Android Market. After a day or two I quickly realised the potential this Home Replacement had, and built a couple of demo Sweeter Home themes to show what this Launcher was capable of (you might be familiar with the Matrix theme video on YouTube). I started this blog in response to the initial popularity of those videos. Since then I've had the pleasure of lending ideas and beta testing for the developer of Sweeter Home.
Would love to get SH2 on Samsung Moment running Android 1.5.
I’d like to request a 1.5 version please! I’m on the HTC Hero and it could be ages until we see an update to 2.0! Really desperate to try out Sweeterhome 2, as I’ve been following the development process for months, only to find out my phone couldn’t run it anyway
Frankly, want SH2 on 1.5, and on the other hand feel guilty to ask dev to spend precious time on a soon to be discarded version of Android. As of Dec 09, only 30 percentile of Android users are on 1.5. Sprint and Samsung have done injustice to its customers by selling devices that are already obsolete. The list of apps supporting 1.5 will dwindle fast from here on.
I’ve been following the sweeter home 2 development for over 6 months and promoting it to my friends along the way. I am desperate to try it and unleash the full power of my phone, however cannot due to my Samsung Moment’s 1.5 firmware. Who knows when we will actually get 2.0+, probably not till Mid 2010.. maybe longer. Please don’t make us wait another 6-9 months to try this out. If this gets released for 1.5, I know I will get at least 30-50 people to download and try it.

Still waiting on HTC to release a rom update for my hero – would be nice to able to use sweeterhome on it even if it is still running an old rom version.

I have been watching this site since I heard about SH2 and when the relase for beta came out, I tried and low and behold its for 1.6 and higher…I Run the Droid Eris 1.5 I AM DESPERATLY SEEKING SH2 Beta .. PLS!!!
I would love to see SH 2 out for us poor 1.5 version users. Some of us will not get an update and some will be waiting along time to get an update. SH 2 is by far the best home screen I have seen in action. It would be great to be able to have on my Sprint Hero and show it off to get others digging SH 2. Thank you for at least considering it.
Please make a 1.5 build. I have no idea if Samsung will ever release an update, they have a terrible track record for updating phone software.

As far as I know there it still some months (if ever) before HTC releases 2.0 for my Hero.
