Update: added labels to icons on all trays as this was highly requested. :)

Here’s the first version of Groupie. It’s a theme loosely based around the idea of dynamic folders. I’ve used tiny Tagged Trays as the icons with Springboards sitting above them that target the larger trays. The buttons will always display the first 4 icons in your tagged tray, so if you add or remove an app from a category this will be shown in the button too.

  • Theme Resolution: 480×800 (Nexus One, Evo, Droid etc)
  • Find: Search “Groupie” or “Lemon” in the theme list
  • Install now: Click to show QR code, then scan

New builds – November

You may have noticed a few update builds hitting sweeterhome.com in the last few days. Please make sure you check back every once in a while and update to the latest build.

They mostly contain bug fixes, however there are a couple of feature changes:

  • Account settings in the “More” menu option
  • Editable text HEX values for colours, for precise editing and matching (long press to edit)

QR codes are the frickin’ bomb!

So I’ve been messing with QR codes at work a ton in the last week, and my brain finally collided 2 important bits of information. 1) QR codes can link to any URI, and 2) you can use a URI to launch a Sweeter Home theme.

If you want to create your own codes to share, just change USERNAME and THEMENAME in the below URL and paste it into your browser address bar (the link will be case sensitive).

Alive?

Hi kids. A quick note to say I am alive! Just got back from a holiday in Japan and Thailand. Work is busy as heck so haven’t had much Sweeter Home time right now.

Sweeter Home development has slowed a little which the dev gets some infrastructure in place. Should see some more releases soon.

I’ll try and have some new content soonish.
