A really quick update to HotDock. I think this makes it a lot more polished! 
Changes:
- SMS widget and Dialer popup added to middle screen (Favs shortcut requires AnyCut)
- Browser and Maps popups added to right screen
- Application dock added and skinned on bottom screen
- Images included – only use if you’re having caching problems, the theme is set up to download and use the images automatically!

HOW COME MOST OF MY APPS WONT LAUNCH?
how do i add my own apps in the in the different sections like on the display picture above?
The dock is a graphic man. So you can replace toggles for example by long pressing in it and dragging the icon out to remove it, then long press on it again and choose applications and select your own toggle/switcher app. But the text will always say “Toggles” because it’s just a PNG graphic.
I can upload the PSD file if you want to edit it?

I edited the PSD file to my liking, how do i put it into my HotDock theme?
A few steps
1) the PSD file should have guides active on it (ctrl+H I think). You must crop the dock in thirds according to the guides.
2) Crop the first section from left to right to include the first 4 menu items (in my theme: Utils, Games, Notes, Clocks). You may need to turn your snap on to guides (in photoshop settings/preferences). The crop should be 320 wide x 85.3215 high (pixels). Repeat for the middle section, and the right section.
3) Save for Web and Devices: PNG 24bit, transparency. Save it as a unique name.
4) Move the PNG to your SD card.
5) in Sweeter Home, edit the existing image from my theme, replace it with your own.
6) ???
7) Profit!

Hey puny in your psd file i dont see the application tab for editing. would it be possible for you to add that in Another psd file upload pls
so i could make my own as well i will include an updated psd of what i make for you to use or just look at as well.!!

John man, I checked my PSD, pretty sure I made that on the fly in a few seconds as a placeholder and it stuck – so don’t have it in the PSD. You can probably just create it pretty easily yourself using the existing elements in the PSD.

Yeah i did just that as you see in my screenshot. you ya want send me a email to my gmail which you have and i will email you a copy of the 2 psd files so others can see what i did, since you really did all the hard work i just changed the pictures i don’t think there is a need for that as a skin unless you think people might want the ice blue look, if so i will include that as well for ya if ya like.
I do have a question for you though, how do i go about making a skin for sweeter home on the pc with out editing one of your skin on the phone it self. The graphic part is understood but i would like to create the skin from scratch on the pc then transfer the working skin to the phone.

I downloaded a couple themes but noticed that all my icons (facebook, gmail, twidriod, etc..) are missing images. However, my other downloaded apps (soundboards, games, etc..) have their images. Is this because the app is still beta?.. beta-ish really. Is anybody else having this issue,
or am I missing something?

The theme’s aren’t APKs so you can’t put them on the market. Sharing is WAY improved in the new version so stay tuned.
Hey Lemon, really lacking generic button type shortcut feature. Hacking around with size settings and transparency is a bit of a bind. Just a thought to make these feel a little more responsive. You set the Icon selection colour to a completely transparent alpha but you could use it to give an almost tactile response to the control being pressed by just upping the alpa of the selected color and setting the rgb to accent the theme. I suppose its a persnal pref but it feels better to have some respnse than no response. Nice themes here. keep up work.
Hey man, yeah I agree. Actually the dev is considering making a complete block able to target any action, like launching an app, which would help here.
In the mean time, for things like HotDock, I’ve added some changes which are possible in Sweeter Home 2 to give more visual feedback about what’s activated in the theme. I’ll put some screens up later today.
Yep that would work nicely. That would answer the question of Icon replacement, in a simple step. Apply the colour changing attributes that Dev has already implimented to the to the block on Press and you’ll have your user press feedback. Just use a custom argb graphic and you can really fancy things up! Looking forward to the release. When it finally drops.
