I got hold of Sweeter Home when it first showed up in the Android Market. After a day or two I quickly realised the potential this Home Replacement had, and built a couple of demo themes to demonstrate Sweeter Home's potential (you might be familiar with the Matrix theme video on YouTube). I started this blog in response to the initial popularity of those videos. Since then I've had the pleasure of lending ideas and beta testing for the developer of Sweeter Home.
Love the preview videos you have posted regarding sweeter home, particularly hot dock and springboard. Can’t wait for the release.
Great video, just started to hear about Sweeter Home in the last week or so and it looks amazing what can be done with this. Cant wait for the Preview 2 to come out and try out.
So looking forward to this. I’ll drop GDE and dxTop in a heartbeat for this. Sexy looking UI.
I am trying to download this theme, but the link always opens a new tab that loads nothing on my computer and throws an error communicating with the server on my phone. Is there a problem with the link?

Shit balls, can you try now please. On PC you need to save as. From your phone it should load fine.
Did a right click, saved as hotdock.xml. Put on sdcard and did a Themes/SD Card…SH can’t find it?
It only allows me to download it as an .xml file as well.
OK, I’ll look at this more today. I’m sure I’ve had this working before…
Love this theme! Downloaded and modified for my Moment utilizing 1.5 friendly widgets and apps I like =) I will upload it later.
Few thoughts:
- It would be great if people put the OS version in the theme. I noticed most 2.0 themes do not work on 1.5 phones.
- A lot of widgets don’t work (ie. Express News, Any Rss Reader), is anyone keeping a list of these? I didn’t see this anywhere.
- I noticed the Home button force closes SH2, is this specific to the Moment? or a global issue?

Also, while tweaking the current version of hot dock, I added a springboard that launches another springboard. When i activate the 2nd springboard it closes the parent springboard. Why would this occur? Is there a way from preventing this? My preference would be to have the parent springboard close the child springboard, not vice versa.
You need to change the group name for them both.
The hierarchy you mention (parent closes the child) has just been added to a private internal build – so that’ll be out soon.
